I am my mothers son. In Jemgum we found the supermarket. You pay a deposit to get your cart unlocked of 1 euro. You do get it back if you remember to turn it back in. However, if it is left behind then whoever finds it gets the euro. I did not get my euro back.
We bought candy and food stuff. We went crazy in there buying complete crap. But hey, we are in Germany and in a grocery store and we like food.
